She's Gone...

Dec 04, 2006 07:52

She just left about ten minutes ago to go to the doctors. I'm still not sure if she's actually going to tell the doctor how she's been lately. Dad slipped the idea in again last night but I think she thinks that we're just being annoying on purpose. Now I'm starting to snap at her just as much as she is me because I've got so used to having to talk ( Read more... )

Aww, chick. It's *not* your fault and never ever will be. The fact that she's blaming you is just cos she can't cope with taking responsibility for her own feelings atm and then she lashes (sp?) out at you instead. Trust me when I say this-

You have done *a lot* more than anyone would expect you to do already and besides, like I told Kel about her Dad blaming her for her illnesses, it's HER (your Mum's) fault that you're ill in the first place since your problems are based on genetic factors! It's HER genes that she so kindly has passed on to you that's causing the problems. The fact that they have come to life in your body is something that's beyond your control so how could that possibly be your fault?

You know that free counselling comes as part of the package with me whenever you need it. :D Btw, here's some Plyn kissage to cheer you up even if it's just for a second.

Can't believe I haven't replied to all your comments *blushes*

Thank you chick. If I ever need a free counselling session I certainly know that I can count on you to be there for me. I love your advice and know I can ask you for a lot of very good advice when I'm in need *kram*

Thank you for the Plyn kissage too *sighs*

Btw, I noticed you haven't added Rachel to your LJ yet. Just a gentle reminder, that's all. :)

How does the doctor think a leaflet is going to help your mum?!!!!! Fine that she doesn't want to give her medication, but someone to talk things through with would be a good idea! Doctors! *shakes head*

*hugs* for all your family frustrations.

A leaflet can help her sort out what she feels before she goes there next time. It gives her a chance to feel like she's in control of things too since she gets to see if the symptoms of depression fits what she feels and stuff. If she seemed all over the place today when the doc saw her it's hard for him/her to diagnose or form an accurate impression anyway and the two week period will allow them to determine if it's just a temporary thing too since it could be hormonal/season related or whatever. :)

Vetty just needs to make sure that her Mum does go back in two weeks' time now if this persists!!

Thank you so very much for the hugs chick, they're much appreciated as always :) how it's supposed to help I don't know considering she hasn't even bothered looking at it

Tis definitely not your fault girlie! *hugs* Being ill is never ever anyone's fault, you can't control it. It's the 'rents way of handling things it seems, they would want to blame it on someone/something. Bah! *huggles*

Heh leaflet?! Asshat. What's a leaflet gonna bloody do :S

Thankies muchly chick, I need people to tell me that cos it certainly gets you down sometimes :/ Parents always tell us they love us *so* so much and yet when things are wrong it's like it's all our fault *rollseyes*

Appaarently the leaflet showed her people she could talk to but I didn't know that and only found out by overhearing her tell my Auntie! She's just glanced at it, apparently flipped through that bit and not mentioned anything else about it :/
