I understand the fact that we all see this as 'our club' but the fact remains that it is your workplace and you should be treated with respect that anyone 'doing their job' deserves. Everyone should remember that and I think that it speaks badly of all of the members that you have to deal with this sort of childishness just doing your job. They may not apologize, but I do. Sorry that you have to deal with this.
