The Vashti Bunyan show last night at the 40 watt was extremely beautiful. I've loved her album "Just Another Diamond Day" for a few years now, and it's been one of the few albums that I've listened to almost constantly since I first heard it. Yeah, that's actually the reason I love her so much. She's like Daniel Johnston in that way, but obviously very different. She's completely unpretentious. It's the same sort of thing as Herzog or Julian, where sometimes people come off as pretentious to critics and snobs because they're so unpretentious and unassuming that what they make isn't like anything else. I'm with you 100% on that post, it was the most moving and sincere performance I think I've ever seen.
