Ohai! I saw you're the mod of efc, and I have a question. I was wondering how actively you're still into EFC.
If you're still interested in it, how would you feel about helping a bunch of us out in reviving EFC? We've a few plans, and the name efc is just so simple and elegant we'd like to use this comm to get at least the lj fanbase a little more united.
If you've lost interest in efc, would there be a way we could take over modding the comm as to help make this revival happen? So far, we have plans for a fanfic archive and possibly some other things, among which a fic fest.
Hello there... I'm still into EFC (the first four seasons, anyway), and I'd be open to adding a co-maintainer or two. I'm not sure how much I could contribute myself, though, as I'm pretty busy these days. I did sketch out an alternate season five timeline for fun at one point, but I'm sure I'm not the only one!
There was anything but S1-4? *severely in denial about that monstrosity called S5*
I think there's actually a group out there making an entire new S5 xD But I'm finding out a lot of lj people, especially those that weren't in the original fandom, are secretly hiding all their ficcies, and methinks it's about time they surface xD
As for comaintainers, that would be a great idea xD Would it be ok to add me and neth_dugan? She said she had some ideas about pimping up the layout, apparently she's good with graphics and the like :) We were hoping to make efc the home of a cross-over fest (any Xover, any show, any pairing) to see if we can poke fans into writing again, hope that's ok? I'm also trying to bully neth into making loads of icons, so those should be appearing sometime soon as well :)
Oh hey, your interests say champaign-urbana? I LOVE that town, I worked at uni there for half a year! What do you do there?
Okay, you two are now co-maintainers! Have fun... I'll be around, but as I mentioned earlier, I probably won't be able to contribute much.
Anyway, I went to college at UIUC (class of 1999) and lived there for a couple years afterwards before moving to Portland, OR, in 2001. I miss it sometimes (especially the music scene when I was in school), but it wasn't really the same after graduation when everyone moved away. So I ended up moving away, too!
