Hey, it's no problem, except for the fact that I was never called. Hahaha. I'm glad you had fun, though. Funtimes are goodtimes. I ended up also having drunken fun on Saturday night. Because of many people and a game called Kings. Oh, how that game is amusing with the right people. My friend Drew is typing up the rules and making it the House Drinking Game. Anyway. I hope you got the message I left you tonight (Monday), and I also hope you have oodles and oodles of fun.
Tis almost amusing how insanely and pettily (is that a word :S) jealous girls can get some times. But then guys can get that way too lol. I was hanging out at the house of a really good friend of mine in Greensburough NC (me and her got on like a house on fire) but as soon as her boyfriend arrived he was all standing there and putting his arm around her, all but saying 'She's mine back off'. I actually started laughing but had the wisdom not to say what I found so amusing for fear of offending her... hahaha even thinking about it now makes me chuckle. Pettiness and silly jealousy amuses me greatly.
But I wouldn't worry too much, if she's your friend she'll know you have no otherwise intentions towards him especially not given recent developments : )
Still trying to put your b-day gift together, just need to find appropriate containers and a few assorted oddities and it will be flying across the sea in the next 5 days!
Yah, she's my sister though, and she's always been jealous for whatever deep seeded reasons of resentment she has against me.
*shrugs*
It's not like I can escape her.
Though I did in Canada for a while, muahaha. I'd rather learn to coexist peacefully. I hope she gives in and decides that's a good idea one of these days, too.
Thank you for your advice and input, Nick. You know I highly value your opinion, and you're right... I'm highly qualified to handle this... and will doubtlessly do so wrongly, but will try my best anyway.
The course of action I've chosen absolves me of all legality.
Thanks for caring enough to type all that out.
(And you're both silly for the debate that occurred below this, but debates are always welcome in my journal.) =D
Yeah, about time you put up a decent update :P hehe.
I made an earlier comment but it was worded poorly (lackOfSleep + caffiene = bad typing) and decided to redo. Re your pregnant friend, when the time comes you will know what do to, just have faith in your God given and quite remarkable talents and you will be the best you can be regardless.
I hear you, but it would seem that we're coming from two different standpoints. I've have this debate before with people and to me it's not so much the foetus; status as a lifeform as it's potential. The moment thoe two cels join you've got the potential for a Mozart, a DaVinci, a Hawking,,, I could go on, Abortion is denying the world that potential I know that there are also possible neagtive potentials but I think you get m point. Secondly as a christian one persons death has changed my life beyond all reasonable doubt and those of soany of my friends and that was Jesus. I'm not going to even start to prech at you just wanted to make the point again that not all deaths are meaningless.
You're right, we are coming at from different viewpoints. I don't expect you to convert to my view, nor do I particularly want you to, I'm just sharing my belief on the matter. As far as the potential thing goes... again, you assign a higher value to life than I do. There are so many people being born everyday that it doesn't really matter if one stupid foetus is done away with. I don't really asign any special attributes to Mozart or DaVinci or Hawking. I think that if they hadn't been there to do what they did, someone else would have been. There are plenty of replicates being churned out of the humanity machine on a daily basis. None of us really matter overly much.
