I'm not particularly religious, but I had, of course, heard the story of Lot's wife. I never saw that interpretation, that's very interesting.
personally, the past does matter, at least as long as the person/persons are not doing anything to change the past behavior. Moving forward is one thing, but that has to involve acknowledgement and understanding, and a true desire to not repeat.
yeah I think we're past repeating so very much that's happened and would be at a good point to move forward and enjoy the summer together with the Kids but I just can't get him to let go of his anger and despite what he says I know he's still held in the grips of feelings about another woman. hard to beat that. hard to talk around it and make him see this is forever and how we live our lives and how we raise the kids. We all deserve something better than a broken home.
