I have this problem, a neurological defect if you will, that sometimes interferes with my ability to see things. It generally manifests when I'm trying to scan or sort through a collection. I look at a rack of coats, for example, and all I see are coats. My own coat, if it's there, is invisible to me until I look at the coats sequentially.

Apparently I have genius level spatial acuity - which is the exact opposite of what you'd expect.

Anyone who's run into you on a Quake2 server has come to expect that. :-p

I know that I can't multitask... but it's a symptom of something else.
