Freedom rings hollow

It never fails to perplex me when I hear someone use the phrase "freedom loving Americans." Which Americans would those be? You can't appreciate something that you don't understand. Our freedom is like a valuable family heirloom priced for a buck in someone's yard sale. I wonder if we'll even notice when it's missing.

We don't seem to have noticed so far.

Sincerely,

Waiting for the Revolution to Begin...

Now now, these people just realize that freedom really means "no one can tell me what to do or how to live my life, and freedom also means no one can stop me from telling other people how to live their lives."

Howdy.

Being born in the 80s, I'm pretty sure I missed out on that whole freedom shindig and I'm not sure when it occured.

Anyway, I have a Livejournal again. I figure it's the cool thing to do.
