That probably depends on the type of vampire you -or your friend- were bitten by. There are a number of different varieties out there, but for most of them, a single bite isn't going to have you sprouting fangs of your own anytime soon. Even the classic Dracula-style vampires required a few more steps before you'd turn.

As for turning someone back... I don't think you can. But chances are, this could be the influence of the latest 'experiment', in which case everything should be normal in a week.
