"This is nice." The blond said in a faint voice, just loud enough to be heard over the rustling of young, light green spring leaves rustling in a breeze.
"And you thought it would be boring." Hiroto said and took off his sunglasses to feel the sun on his whole face.
Uruha smiled, simply smiled, enjoying the warmth on his cheeks, the grass beneath his palm. He noticed his heart beat grow even and steady, like it was stronger and yet calmer. A strand was blown into his eyes, but he didn't bother to push it away. It tickled his nose a little, soft and shining golden in the noon's sun.
He heard Hiroto taking several deep breaths and tried it himself, filling his lungs with air filtered by the forest surrounding the clearing.
"The air is good." The taller whispered after a while.
"Pure."
"Like you." Words spoken so soft they caressed the younger.
The sound of a hand reaching over the grass and spring flowers to take hold of the other's.
"Would you stay until nightfall?" Hiroto asked, bobbing his right foot to a melody forming in his mind.
"To look at the stars with you?"
"Yeah."
"I'm too lazy to leave, anyway." He smiled a little wider as he heard Hiroto's honest chuckle.
"I love you, too."
Warmth, so much warmth.
