As the annoying poking at Reita's ribs turned into a gentle touch they didn't notice. As the grunted response became a kiss on the forehead they were still oblivious.
Until Uruha was watching them in the tour bus, hanging over the back of his seat. He was idly watching the two men doze in their seats, Ruki's head on Reita's shoulder and the bassists cheek nestled on auburn hair. Uruha pursed his lips. When did it happen? When did his best friend develop this something he could see now?
Reita wasn't asleep. He glanced at the blond with an almost shut eye from beneath his bangs.
"Aoi."
"Hm?" Hummed the fellow guitarist.
"Aoi, aren't they cute?" He wiggled his dangling arms.
"Cute? What are you talking about?" The dark haired turned around to look at whatever Uruha was referring too.
"Oh. Them."
The blond slouched down in his seat. "Is it just me or are they getting close?"
Aoi hummed his agreement.
The bus turned and made their bodies brush against each other. Getting close? Close. Reita liked that idea. He nuzzled his uncovered nose in the sweet smelling hair. Liked was an understatement.
Even more so as Ruki reached for his hand, entwining adorned fingers with his callused ones, shifting their hands until they perfectly fit into each other.
Things change.
To the better.
