Reita didn't like that look on Ruki's face. Pure mischievousness. He didn't like how Ruki was watching him with folded legs, smoking languidly, alluringly a cigarette he took from Reita's pack.
It made him nervous.
Why did he have to meet him while he tried to go out on a date with a girl? All he wanted was to have a little piece of normal life back, despite living with Uruha and all the things Visual Kei made you do and go through.
Ruki pushed an auburn - soon to be blond again - strand back and grinned. The girl next to him eyed him suspiciously, sipping on her tea.
The booth they sat in was too small, in Reita's opinion, especially for Ruki's ego.
The vocalist stubbed his cigarette in the ash tray in the middle of table, folded his arms, lay his elbows on the surface and leant forward, his lips curling up and a tongue moistening his lips.
"Reita," He began, a firm gaze locking the bassist's eyes to his, "don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me?"
Her eyes grew wide as she starred at the man on her left.
"Yes." The answer came unexpected for all of them but Ruki. He knew it. He fucking knew it.
Ruki tilted his head and saw into a startled face. "Mind leaving us two alone?"
She looked between Ruki and Reita, between a victorious grin and an embarrassed blush.
"Don't bother calling me again." She picked up her - in Ruki's opinion cheap and lame - purse and left, her pumps clicking.
Reita felt a foot aligning with his own left beneath the table.
"Now, tell me, why did you ask her out again?" Ruki pulled out another stick from Reita's pack.
"I'm not gay?" He slumped down in his seat, feeling defeated.
"Oh, please." Ruki exhaled blue smoke through his nostrils before he started to laugh.
