"Mom!" Kimberly stormed down the stairs, barely keeping hold on her bag.

"MOM!" She yelled again.

"Mom's not here and stop the yelling, I'm trying to write something!" Ruki shouted back from the living room.

"Where the fuck is he?" The girl growled, entering said room.

"What did I tell you about cursing?" Ruki looked up from his notes.

"You, dad, are not telling me anything about not cursing as long as you're not stopping yourself." She pointed accusingly at the bleach blond man.

"Be that way." he picked up his pencil again, scribbling more notes and tiny drawings. "What do you want from your mom, anyway?"

"He's supposed to drive me to the MiMi twins." She flopped down on the oversized black leather couch, flipping her blue hair.

"Again? Weren't you just there yesterday?"

"So what?" She pulled out her mobile, checking for mails. "They are helping me study English."

"I can help you, too." Ruki looked over at his daughter, frowning as she burst into laughter.

"No! Sorry, dad, but no, you can't." She looked at her dad, feeling a little pity.

"Kimberry, I really can!" He threw his pencil aside.

"See? You still can't even pronounce my name." Laughter still bubbled from her pretty lips.

"Sorry." The blond mumbled. He tried, he really tried, but somehow his tongue was reluctant to get the L into her name.

"Don't be sorry. Just stick to my nickname, ok? And give me a ride to the twins?" She folded her hands and pleaded with puppy eyes.

"Berry-chan!" Two girls, way taller than Kimberly, chirped in unison.

"Akemi, Harumi, who's there?" A male voice asked from further into the house, curious who rang the bell.

"It's the Machos' daughter!" The girl with the pink strands answered, Akemi.

The tall man tumbled towards the door, pulling a silver shoe on. "Hi there, pretty!" he greeted the small girl in English.

"Are you going out, Uncle Miyavi?" Kimberly asked, stepping inside and pulling her black army boots off.

"Don't call me uncle, it makes me feel old." He checked his jacket's pockets for his phone and keys. "I have a waxing appointment. Don't burn down the house, k?"

The three girls watched him run to his car, hopping into the open cabriolet before he waved, smiling brightly, and drove off.

"Did he have coffee again?" Berry cocked a fine trimmed brow.

"Guess so." Harumi, the one with white strands, nodded.

"With lots of sugar." Akemi added.

They went straight into the wide living room and pushed some magazines off the table.

"So, what color do you want?" While one got two small devices and tissues, the other pulled out a few jars filled with liquid acryl and nail polish remover.

"...Black?" Their guest shrugged.

"How about black with blue tips?" Akemi suggested, pointing at the blue hair.

"And silver skulls?" The other twin joined in.

"Awesome!" Kimberly clapped her hands together.

"What took you so long, by the way?" They plugged the devices, testing the UV lamp and the electric file. All working fine, they could start.

"Oh, mom wasn't home yet, so dad drove me here."

"I heard he's at the Poohs' today, he broke his laptop and Nao should take a look at it." Akemi said while she removed some old acryl from Berry's nails.

"And Tora is at the Romantics', as far as I know. Something about a new Gundam game, mommy said."

Oh, the advantages of being Miyavi's daughters: the know how about flashy nails and when you paid attention, you could find out where every musician was.
