I don't know what I was thinking at the time. Statements are mind-dependent entities; they can't have a truth-value without there being a mind to entertain them.

I'd still say that numbers aren't mind-dependent entities; that's numerals. Numbers are abstractable features of mind-independent reality (that we can use them so successfully to predict phenomena gives support for this, I'd say), but that doesn't mean that there's only one possible abstraction from any given phenomenon; that various abstractions are mutually exclusive doesn't make them any less abstractable features.
