Strange exhibition of my cooking talents

That's strange, but when my mom is on vacation and traveling I cook different meals than when she is at home. No, if she is at home I also cook, but all courses are simple and "traditional". However if I am alone, I more often than not make something interesting.
Today on my  menu are chicken gizzards braised with soy sauce and Provence herbs, and
