Hello, my sci-fi watching friends. i was wondering if any of you could give me a little help on my assignment? can you think of any SF film or tv examples where human body modification has been portrayed in a positive or neutral light? i'm talking like, wolverine's claws being awesome for fighting, or like, vin diesel's weird eyes in pitch black ( Read more... )

Doctor Who has two hearts. Yes, he's not human but it's portrayed as something cool.
Star Wars. People's all the time getting new hands and legs and it's not a bad thing. Neutral.
Star Trek: Jeordie's visor.
