lol, now I know you only read the last line :)

Self destruction is in the sense that in doing what I want to do... I'll destroy some of the biggest things I lived for. That was what all those ramblings were about...

And the party is this sunday! 19-20ish I think...

Sometimes a little self-destruction is necessary to start a new chapter.
So far, the book's been damned good. I look forward to the rest of it with great love and pleasure.

Hmm makes me want to reflect back on my life. I'm not sure what the answer is because I don't think there is an answer to life. We're all just bumbling about really. I will say that you obviously have the want to excell and do something great. You hold onto that and I know you'll do something fabulous, no matter what you choose to do. Sometimes it is necessary to scrap a few things and go in a different direction. Though I wouldn't exactly call that self destruction because I think you'll still stay true to who you are. Keep going and you'll get where you're going. Somewhere great!

did you ever hear the analogy of the seed? u probably have, but anyway: a seed disintegrates before it can sprout. if it never was destroyed and was perfectly untouched, it couldnt grow into a plant. sometimes you need a little destruction to grow in a different direction. then again, if you're on the way to becoming a great sculpture, a little destruction is a bad thing.... it depends on where you're headed, i suppose.

and since i didnt really respond properly to the whole post:
hey, at least you know you want to shine. the worst is people who dont recognize these things about themselves. i think most people do not want to be failures at least. most ppl want to shine in some way, and have enough attention. thats normal. i think you know that. its just learning to live with not getting it thats the hard part. and im with you on that account :S
