I kinda gave up on that a while back when I realized most of it was about stretching a fight for about a month by having 80% of the episode be staring back and forth.
Well, I've come this far, might as well try and see it through. But if things start to go even slower I'll stop in an instant!
I've seen Death note, was nice. :) Looking for more anime to watch, got any suggestions? I like the Last EXILe and Hellsing style of anime.. that is, no superdeform!
Loved the first half of Death Note myself. As far as good anime, I can't recall a lot of them.
Monster is a non-deform one, rather on realistic tones, modern day setting, no fantasy really. It is kinda mystery/police/horror I guess.
Claymore is in a fantasy setting, about some demon-hunting female knights (woohoo!). It's horror/fantasy, pretty dark and bloody at times.
Gantz, I don't know if I like that one... The concept is great, it's not too silly, but it's pretty weird. Dead people partake in a strange game where they have to hunt down creatures or they die (some more I guess), modern urban setting.
Haibane Renmei is a very cute anime, not sure if it fits your criteria. No real action, but kinda creepy in its undertones. Well made, pretty music, about a girl becoming part of a group of angel-like creatures that are in a city (that they can't leave).
