Also, a tip: the way you can tell you are eating at a good ethnic resturaunt is if people of that ethnicity are the majority of the customers.
Right on. Or, a sign of a bad ethnic restaurant: none of the people working there are of that particular ethnicity (i.e. all mexicans in a chinese restaurant) It's a recipe for mediocre chinese food!
Where have you been darling? Americans NEVER care about the issues. Barely anyone knows a damn thing about politics. We're not intelligent enough for it. Most people can't be bothered. It's all about what party people were raised to support - followed by which candidate is more attractive. Look at Nixon - he had such a damn hard time getting elected because he looked like a jackass on TV since he refused to wear makeup. No one cares about the platform. It's something we will all have to face - the future of this country is in the hands of imbeciles. And we, the more knowledgable, can sit back and laugh. As for me. . . right now I'm supporting Kerry - but I haven't done enough research to really argue about him. . . .strangely, I was about to start my examination today - though I won't be old enough for the primaries - only elections.
you don't even need to make fun of the olsen twin movies, they're a joke in the first place. ugh they make me feel queasy. speaking of which, don't you go to school with them? i'm so sorry! are they dumb? i hope so. hah. i'm dying to know what they got on their sats. i think i'd cry if they did better. anyway.
nice editorial. intelligent and thoughtful. you bring up some excellent points. although, i have to say, i like the bumper sticker. it's the resident sentiment around here.
