two of his albums shot into the top ten best sellers at amazon the day walk the line came out, & i'm hearing people are having a terribly rough time finding copies of folsom prison & even his other albums, so he obviously wasn't as popular (or, excuse me, trendy) before the movie - but everyone knew WHO he was
