I can't thank you enough for taking the time to fix all my mistakes:) You're an angel:) You know, I'm a 'Dean' girl but I love looking at Dean through Sam's eyes, you know?
Sam felt his gut clench painfully, the image of Dean on the seesaw with his face turned up towards the light snowfall burned into his head - another bittersweet memory for Sam to carry with him once he was alone.
And you know he did, along with the afterimage of the same picture without Dean. Very nice, but Jesus. Poor Sam.
Great story, with brooding Sam and Dean trying to give him last minute advice, including getting away from the life. As much as he never wants Sam to leave him, I think Dean is still, to this day, terrified of keeping Sam in hunting, of what it might do to him.
In 'Wishful Thinking', remember when Dean asks Sam what he'd wish for and he assumes it would be a normal life? Sam says it's too late for that, but like you say, Dean is probably still hoping that could happen.
Man. This is so full of details that put me right *there*, chill and heartache and love. Your voices for the boys are spot on, and the scenario just breaks me all over again. Lovely look back at S3, and poignant in every line.
Wow, I'm really flattered by your kind words:) The last few eps of season three wrecked me, especially 3x15. Thanks for taking the time to read and review:)
You know I am not a supernatural fan and I don't know much about the actual characters having only ever seen one episode but you could really feel the connections between them and the sadness. But also strength and acceptance...
I did sit bolt upright reading about Ashtabula. I spent a lot of time around there as an 18 year old. Was only dreaming about the place the other night....weird
