For most of this year, I've been pulling 10-12hour workdays. To my friends who've asked, I've given several reasons for this: my overall workload's gone up, I've gotten higher visibility tasks (read: the CEO and her staff see my work) that demands more time & care, my coworker got fired (not that he was helping much) and hasn't been replaced yet, ( Read more... )

at least you still have the desire to go out. :/

i go once a month to a company happy hour, and 30 minutes into it, i want to go home.

I get super-excited when I go out. It's a Big Deal™ to me. I couldn't stop talking about going to Vegas back in May for weeks beforehand. For others, it's like, oh, just another weekend.

So when I come to NYC, we'll hang out for 30min tops (;

My CEO is just a few months older than me. I've....really underachieved in life.
