EDIT: I'm SO terribly sorry that I'm so late on this; the end of the year has been crazy but that's really no excuse, and I hope you don't think that I didn't care about this story or anything like that because I've been thinking about it the whole time.

Note: I looped Beginnnings (YouTube) by Houses while I read this story, and at first it didn't quite fit but then it did <3 in the saddest/most touching way ( ... )
