so i saw "king kong" today. it was really, really sad. my dad thought there were some silly moments and i can see why he would say that but i really liked them anyway and thought that they added to the film nicely. i cried at the end but i was being quiet so my dad wouldn't hear and think i was being ridiculous. i knew what happened already but ( Read more... )

I notice that when kids do talk during movies, it's usually just one or two things every so often; they don't babble incessently like some adults do. And the kids are far more likely to be endearing about it. (That kid in PotC who said loudly "He's made of skeletons!!" totally made my day.)

I don't know. During Star Wars Episode II I sat in front of a kid that wrecked it for me almost as much as Haydn Christianson did. I finally had to turn around and use my scary adult voice to shock him into silence. He actually started quieting the children around him afterward.
