i'm freaking out.

in about a month and a week, i will be leaving for about five months. all of a sudden, i started freaking out last night. i don't know what to do about it. send help. but not in the form of junk food in case i accidentally gain 970 lbs. and need to be airlifted to the hospital.

my brain won't shut up.

I'm going through the same thing. I suspect I'll start making obsessive compulsive packing lists in the next couple of days. At least my passport arrived.

oh man, i'm going to start making a packing list, too. how much are you bringing? i'm trying to think about how much of my life i'll need for five months and it's kind of weird to think about that.

I don't know. My parents are letting me borrow a pair of rather large suitcases. I want to avoid bringing clothing with obvious americanisms with me, so that limits the wardrobe selection. My current debate is whether to bring my beadwork supplies with me. I'm not sure what to do about living supplies, though I will be bringing a roll of toilet paper with me, since the Bonn blog that Olivia sent us the link to mentioned getting to the store immediately for necessities could be a problem.

In my experience once you get to where you are going and can sit down and take a breath you'll feel better - until that point, you'll just obsess. ^^;;

I'll send help, but the help may be in the form of me not letting you leave. Probably not what you have in mind. It's scary now, but you'll be Germanying it up in no time. And then I will send you the traveling pants!
