i feel ridiculously like a child at the moment. i have long hair. i've wanted for years to grow it to my waist. i trimmed 3 inches off about 2 months ago (when i only had 3 to go to my waist). now, i am considering going under the scissors again. i'd tossed the idea around for my own vanity, but now i'm pondering for reasons les selfish ( Read more... )

I feel horrible for not being able to be more motivational or inspirational. I feel even worse because I can't even relate to you. all my grandparents died before I was born but one, but she died when I was two.

all that's left is sympathy for your situation. I don't know what else I can do other than let you know I care and I take comfort in the fact that I know you will cherish every last moment you have with your grandmother.

that, dearest, is up to you. i'm less upset about it now (it being the actual hair). i've been looking at short cuts and i think it would be a good thing to do. kind of as some sort of rite of passage into real womanhood or something. :)

*hugs* hey chicky. i've missed you terribly since you've been on vacation. i'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother. i've been praying for her continually, and you as well. and i'll keep praying that you and all of your family get through this. i've been there, and i know how hard it is, so if you need to talk or cry or just sit and stare at walls, you always know i'm here for you!!!! promise! :-) i'm sure your grandma will watch over you and be proud of you, as i'm sure she already is. i love ya hun. stay strong! :-)
