anybody got any suggestions for when you work on assignment in your head for a week (seriously, it's how i get most big assignments done), but then when you sit down to flesh everything out, nothing seems to work

Take outlines as you think of stuff. The only way I have survived theater classes is to have outlines for those damned journal entries that I wrote as I thought of them and then could reconstruct the ideas from the outlines. I haven't been keeping up this semester, but the theory is sound, and got me through some difficult courses.

Why haven't you friended me yet? :)
