I am a friend of a friend and I hope it's o.k. if I offer some encouragement.

At our church group's retreat this spring, we watched a DVD with this guy (I forget his name but his last name was Bell) talking about taking his infant son on a hike and having to protect and reassure him after they got caught in a storm. He tied this in with how God is there for us in our stormy moments to help reassure us spiritually.

It looks to me like you're going through your own stormy moment. Pray -- ask for the mental and spiritual strength to get you through the coming week one day at a time. It's what I do when I have my own stormy moments.
