I keep saying the wrong number, lol. So like. I love this game, right? But I also HATE IT. Last night I played for, I don't know, 2 hours? Guess how much progess I made? NONE! Because I DIED and it SUCKED and then when I restarted and did all the stuff I'd just done AGAIN and beat the MINI-BOSS then decided to keep pressing on a little more I DIED ( Read more... )

So I hadn't played P3 when I started P4, and I didn't realize that the goho-m items were REALLY USEFUL, so I basically did the same thing as you D: And I had also thought that you were supposed to finish one dungeon in one go... How horribly wrong I was.

The goho-m's were called something else in P3 but I forget what, and they were also more scarce. The dungeons in p4 are actually a LOT more forgiving. In P3 you can only go up, you can't go down, and you can't leave unless you find one of the randomly placed exits, or get to the end of the current section of the dungeon.

ANYWAY Since the night I described here I have been a lot more conservative in my dungeon crawling, saving excessively, and so on. At least P4 gives you the option of doing the dungeons in one shot if you feel like it, P3 had the "tired system" that would kick in after so many battles and your team members would get all whiny and weak, and you had to leave for the night. D: I don't know if I would want to go back to the battle system in P3 after enjoying all the changes to P4, honestly.
