Fireflies glowing

Sing me to sleep

Riding on dreams

And a song in my eyes

Fireflies laughing

And singing a tune

The world is dancing along with you

We are just two people

In a place filled with dread

Tied together by an imaginary thread

Fireflies dancing

Oh so alive

Living for today

No thoughts no worries

Fireflies dreaming

Wind whispering sweet nothings to me

A change in perception

And a spark in his eyes

Fireflies dyeing

Leaving so soon

A sorrow filled tune

Hello yesterday

Goodbye tomorrow.
