Well, today was my first rally fo the No on 8 Campaign. We were out at the Carlsbad mall for about an hour or so. It was wonderful, there were about 20 of us or so standing outside, holding up signs... We got a lot of approving honks, thumbs up, people saying "It's about time" and several other approving statements

It's about time they are allowed to get married. My church is some of the bigger supporters of the "Yes on 8". I'm not a big supporter of it though. When you're raised by a lesbian you have different ideals than other people do.

Yeah. The church that I have my phone banks at actually has a gay pride flag in the main hall. Now, I'm not religious in any way, shape, or form, but it was one of the most... reassuring and beautiful things I had seen in a long time. But I'm having fun doing what I'm doing. I'm supporting a cause I strongly believe in, and you know what? It makes me enjoy life a little bit more every day.

But we'll see how that is AFTER the election... ;)
