To increase your milk supply eat lots of oatmeal .. also try pumping a little more often if Nathan is not nursing for long periods of time. You can check this article for more foods that can be used to increase supply. http://www.mobimotherhood.org/MM/article-diet.aspx
I just wanted to add .. breastfeeding or not, when you restrict calories to that extent, after a while the body goes into "starvation" mode and you will stop loosing weight as the body now thinks that you are in a famine of sorts and will retain all the fats.
I know you already know this, but you seriously aren't taking in enough calories in to maintain a healthy milk supply. What I did when I was BF'ing and I wanted to lose some of my pregnancy weight was I made sure that my 1800-2000 calories were all healthy, good calories from fruits, veggies, whole grains, lean meats, and stuff like that.
well all i can eat is healthy food cus crap food is super high in calories. im not worried, i think its just my pump. i always feel engorged even after "emptying". i don't think my pump is getting it all out.
awwwww. they look so super cute. Breastfeeding is an unselfish act, to be honest your milk supply is going to lower because you're not getting enough calories which is probably why Nate is going to stay hungry too. I can't believe they didn't give you a specialist to tell you this stuff. You can't diet and breast feed at the same time. You can only exercise really... so... I guess you can switch to bottle feeding exclusively or breast feed.
