The External Links section of the wikipedia article on Interactive Fiction has several links to archives and communities for IF that might be able to narrow this down. I'd be mining through this myself, but I'm a bit lazy and also a bit at work.

Yeah, I've been clicking through a bunch of IF archives, but I haven't found anything. I don't think it was ever commercially published (hence the note where you could contact the author directly), which makes it even less likely I'm going to find information on it.
