I forgot how to do it but theres a way to "index" your livejournal. You can save it to a disk, although I don't see what you would gain by turning it off.

I might gain back a sense of pride. Not that I've been shameful here in the past years, but now that I'm editing a literary journal and am accumulating my own publications, I'd rather not have some of this terrible, terrible writing on display. It's bad writing because it's almost entirely unpolished, but to anyone who sees this because they know me as a writer, it's bad advertising.

I had no idea you could index a livejournal. Thanks for the tip. I'll look into it.

I think the same thing every once in a while. However, I always end up to be too lazy because there are things I would want to save but mostly I'd want to delete the whole thing. But then again, I would be deleting the proof of what an idiot I was starting in sophomore year of high school.

Give and take, I guess.
