Speech pathology's a great area to go into. Good on you!

As for the housing situation, you won't know yourself once you have your own space. The cost will be a pain in the butt, but the freedom you gain and the responsibility that goes with it will be really good for you.

Trust me. I moved out at 17. It was the best thing I could have done. My sister, who stayed at home until she finished uni, had no idea what she was doing when she eventually went to work in another city and had to move out.

I can't believe how quickly the time has gone from when I first met you!

I know. Its just a pain in the butt because I really don't wanna leave. Or if I did it was on better terms

Crazy right ;D

Awww! So jealous that you're with horses. I miss riding like crazy! That sounds like a lot of fun!

BTW, I totally applied for an animal care job at the Science Center in LA. :P I'm sure they'll hire someone already in the area, but it would be nice to be back in SoCal anyways. :P

(slow Kirsten is slow to reply! Sowwy!)

OMG, I've always wanted to learn barrel racing. I've done a lot of western trail riding and took English lessons and done vaulting here and there, but barrel racing just looks like so much fun.

Even if I don't get this job, I'm seriously thinking about moving down there anyways. I really miss SoCal. And since I'm sort of trying to move into a freelance illustration/science illustration career, the LA area is sort of a big center for illustration jobs. The biggest thing stopping me now is money and logistics of getting there...

Slooooow ;D

Depends on where you wanna go to school. Some schools have university housing which can be cheaper then regular apartments. The place I'm moving to is 710/month with electric and utilities in the rent.

I really hope you come back here :D
