Weirdly enough, even though I'm not as into this show as I used to be, I find myself needing to anaylze why I like and don't like the episodes (back when I loved the show reviews were more of the adfsjkdsfkjsfdkj variety).

So, The God Complex.

I was actually discussing this with another friend of mine while catching up with the series. I'm not...absolutely hooked and needing to watch the series anymore. Maybe cause I'm not like everyone else and don't put Moffat on a pedastal and want to suck him off, but seriously, I don't find that hook in a lot of the episodes anymore. And that hook - as you so perfectly put it - is that, I don't have a desire to ever be a companion
