A ghost ship... There was a trap, and he tried to kidnap Ovjang and Mnejing, so I ended up...

Aha! That's where we were! We were traveling in the ghost ship. Maybe we shipwrecked here! Does that mean we're ghosts? Then this must be the ghost world!

... If by "ghost world" you mean the afterlife, you'd be suggesting this place is the Great Spirit. Which I doubt it is.

I am fairly certain that I am not dead, as that would be an incredibly unimaginative plot twist as well as somewhat contradictory.
