Very nice!
(I was expecting more cracky or plain ole smutty but this this - this worked.)
Also the little bits about Allen trying to reason out that masturbation isn't bad and Cross was still a dangerous exorcist despite his frequent indulgences (the use of 'fornicating' nearly made me laugh) was amusing. jojo_kun already pointed out the yay for references of old wives tales, I too echo the yay.
Cross grinning at Tim's recording, does not surprise me at all. Oh Cross, how you've corrupted Allen.

I liked this, too; although I don't know the canon at all, so I'm sure I missed a zillion nuances.

Eeeeee I am very squeeful that you read, even not knowing the canon! Perhaps we can corrupt convert you to the oddity that is D. Gray-man? You're not put off by "triangle faced people" (as Kye puts it), are you? XD;;

I tell everyone that DGM has some points that are reminiscent of Harry Potter while still being quite different from it--i.e. the main character, Allen, is an orphaned/abandoned teenager with a traumatic past who's been raised by an abusive master and has a scar on his face from where he was cursed when his adopted father died. He's also, potentially, some sort of 'chosen one' with a big time martyr complex and a Saving People Thing. But the overall story is about a twisted-round religious war in which the organizations ostensibly fighting the "good" fight have such dubious morals and ethics that it throws into crisis the whole notion of who/what is good at all.
No doubt I shall subject you to further ramblings when next I see you, so beware. This series is quite dear to my heart. =D
