I'll admit that it crossed my mind, though I was too busy cackling over the gender bending that was going on to really give it some deep thought. Something to ponder, at least. ^^

Oh you weren't the only one who thought of that. After the last page, I shouted, "Maka! SAVE HIM NOW!" But, I would like to see Maka and the others struggle a little bit when they do face Kiddo. However, I hope we do get to see some KidMaka moments in future chapters. *crosses fingers* XD

I think almost the entire Kid/Maka fanbase was thinking something along those lines, haha, but yes! I'm sure Maka is going to have a huge part to Kid's ~redemption~ back to sanity and the light. Though what I'm eager for is the angst and the test of friendship + the subtle hints we always get. ;;
