go from

in photoshop 7
includes selective coloring and curves!

1.) take your base. make a new Curves layer.
settings:
RGB: Input: 119 / Output: 137
BLUE: Input: 61 / Output: 56
click ok

2.) make a new selective color layer
my settings:
REDS: cyan: -100
             magenta: 0
             yellow: +100
             black: +100
YELLOWS: cyan: -14
                     magenta: 0
                    yellow: +12
                     black: 0
NEUTRALS: cyan: +7
                       magenta:0
                        yellow: -8
                       black: 0

click ok.

3.) make a second selective color layer.
my settings:
REDS: cyan: -100
             magenta:+26
             yellow:  +100
             black: +21
YELLOWS: cyan: 0
                     magenta: 0
                    yellow: -16
                     black: -57
BLACKS: cyan: 0
                  magenta: 0
                  yellow: 0
                  black: +8
click ok.

4.) make a new hue/saturation layer and set the saturation to +12
      then make a new color/brightness layer and set the contrast to +6
