A Blog? From ME?!!

Yes it's true. I realize I've been slagging off a bit on the entries. Don't worry, I've been quite the lurker on Myspace too. I guess I've just been too lazy to put something down. So, just to prove I am still alive, here's a little update on me. I don't usually do these, mainly because it's not really my style, but I figured I'd get back to my ( Read more... )

I'm glad the Red Sox are doing so well. Now the Rangers need to start doing better. Someone besides Padilla needs to get a win for Texas.

Yeah, but Cam Loe looked good in that one loss against the Sox. We'll see how he does tonight against the Halos. Vincinte Padilla is looking like a great pick-up, and I really do think Milwood will be good too. He looked great through about 5 innings in that opening day game. If the Rangers sign Clemons, I think could easily give the A's a run for the division.

We'll see.

I was so dissapointed with PROOF. I wanted way more from it. I wanted to see it for so long too cause I love Jake G. and Gwyneth P. I'd rather just watch GOOD WILL HUNTING.

I thought it was a refreshing movie. It wasn't anything we haven't seen in the drama genre I guess (ie. BEAUTIFUL MIND, and the aformentioned GOOD WILL HUNTING,) but I really liked the performances. Honestly, it was like 95 minutes, and I tend to be really bias towards movies that can tell a coherent story in less than 2 hours these days.

Good to have you back...been missing some of your opinions...don't always agree, but hey, wouldn't that be boring...
DaVinci Code is a great read, isn't it...just wait till you get the part about....oh never mind...wouldn't want to ruin if for you...Harrison Ford, as Langdon...nah...not sure that Tom Hanks was the best choice either though...maybe Jimmie Smits would have been a good choice...smart, good looking, and recognizable by the masses...I don't know...
You are right about baseball season being back though... always helps to bid farewell to winter with a homerun...especially here where it really gets cold...Go Reds...Go Tribe....Go to a game...:)

My sentiments exactly on Davinci Code. I do feel like it may not be as great as the book, but will be a decent movie. I don't know if Tom Hanks OR Ron Howard were the best choice for either job, but we'll see. Both of them are still capable of creating great things, so ya never know. I am aching for a Harrison Ford return to Indy, so I know exactly how you feel.

I also am dying to get to a ball game, definitely something that needs doing whenever we get back. And after all theses years of avoiding Six Flags, because I was still sick of working their, I actually miss it.
