First of all, go Mavs. I had no idea how much of my sports happiness was invested in this team until they lost their first game of the playoffs Sunday to the hated Spurs. I was quite the unhappy person. Honestly though, a series doesn't really start till a team loses at home. However, I don't like Dallas' chances if they lose tonight.

Ah yes. Well done. I can't explain how hard I laughed that you actually made a diagram. But it was helpful to illustrate the visual.

You did exactly as you should have. You're father is a wise man. Not unlike the Buddha.

The movie was way better than the second. Still love the first best I think.

Sour Patch kids are really, really good.

What else, what else...

Your dad made some really good points, especially in regards to not knowing what someone esle is going through. Maybe because they were so large, they wanted to avoid discomfort. It doesn't excuse the bad behavior but it might be why. And I am guessing you might have come off as kind of rude because you have that, um, kind of disinterested air about you. But whatever. You gave them something to gripe about on the ride home and now you have some world experiance.

I try not to give off that air. I've been told my whole life that I was "stuck up" when mostly I was just a shy kid, which for some reason people translated into arrogance. His wife was somewhat overweight, but HE was large as in like a weight-lifter. Not 'roids big, but stil bigger than me. I was honestly very polite when returning to my seat. His response made no sense... to me anyway.

Well, I never said you were stuck up but I guess it may have sounded that way. I apologize. To me, someone who only knows you through written word, you seem fine but that one time, in person, you came off as self-involved-- but not in that way that means asshole. More like you aren't outgoing and it takes you awhile to warm up to someone if you deem them worthy of your attention. :)
