The picture and key flutter in the breeze and the air itself seems to pull you toward the graveyard. The photo flutters, ripples and floats toward the fence, past the gate, and reels in the winds along the path

[after the gate creaks opens, she feels the breeze grow stronger, tugging at her skirts in such a way that draws her in further. She's glad her eyes have had time to adjust to the darkness in the City, as she glances around, taking in the details of the overgrown graves. A shiver goes down her spine, and she nervously fingers her communicator as she crutches further in, searching for nothing but a second way into the cathedral.]
Might, in the backpack... *You know, the one she can't reach.* Makes me wish I could do real magic, or from a video game *rueful sigh* Just cast a light spell, or something. Ah well.
Edward had kept mostly to herself through the whole ordeal. With everyone being so secretive she really had no one to explain the situation with but herself.
The red-head stared blankly at the graveyard her feet had brought her to. She had never seen one for real... well not one like this. Most dead bodies were disposed of to save space in the planets...
She shook the metal bars of the fencing before sliding one of her thin legs through. That was easy. Her hips, shoulders, arms, they all fit!
However, it was when her neck finally came through that trouble came to her. The hacker tried her best to pull her head through the metal but it was just too big.
"AUUUUUGGGHH!" She screamed, pulling on her head as hard as her limbs could go--all the while not moving an inch. "LET ME GO, YOU STUPID FENCE!!"
*Finally makes it to where everyone else is--which seems to be the church and the graveyard adjacent. Ed's brightly colored hair and yell catch his attention, and he runs over quickly, staring at her as if she's gone nuts.*
Hey! It's your own fault for getting stuck in there!
Edward didn't mean for this! Ed just wanted to go inside! *She sways back and forth, putting her feet on the fence as well* *Afer a few seconds she reached out to the blonde stranger, her gold eyes sparkling*
[Peers into the gate, flashlight aimed at the cleared path. He lets out an exasperated sigh. In truth, he's a bit nervous.] Really, now... is all of this necessary?
[He follows along the path, hoping to find an entrance into the church.]
[Makes his way to the obelisk and directs the light at the inscription. He begins to mumble to himself.] O-R-I-E-N-S. "Oriens"? ...A code, perhaps?
[Glances around, then looks down when the photo catches his eye. He bends down to pick it up and inspects it closely.] An old building, likely somewhere in the City... perhaps it has something to do with this marker? [Looks back up at the towering marble.]
Woo, wall-cracking! 8DbroughantumbleSeptember 10 2009, 16:22:04 UTC
*Apparently, she can't resist being sarcastic, even in the face of god knows what* T'd be more interstin than hangin 'bout waitin fer someone t'move a piece.
[sitting with Del over by the obelisk, she pulls out her cell phone and rings up Milo, in hopes that he might find them and be able to shine some light on the inscription. In the meantime, she inspects the photograph.]
