unterderlinde is the Middle High German spelling of Unter den Linden. It is a poem written in CE 1180. It is one of the most beautiful poems written in German. The author was a circuit-riding troubador named Walther von der Vogelweide. In his day he was the most sought after entertainer on the route for many years. Yea, A. It is, we think, the first poem in German ever to discuss an act of physical love. The poems written around these times were über-clean.
