And as the sunlight dims, bouncing off the ocean's skin,
I shade my eyes -
I can no longer battle the heat of the reflection.
It's endless supply of sparkles pierces my eyesight,
All that I can do - being not much at all - is turn my gaze.
I focus instead upon the clouds and the colors they spin,
Like a godly spiderweb of broken thoughts and doubt.
