So...everyone is talking about The Golden Compass, and it's mostly bad, but I would still like to see it. I might end up going by myself, because as far as I know everyone I know has seen it, and doesn't want to do so again. Is there anyone out there that has not seen it, that would like to go with me? I did read them. I think you and I were reading them around the same time. I feel like we had a comment convo about that at some point. They were really great, which is why I want to see the movie, however bad it turns out to be. There has to be someone in the bay area that hasn't seen it yet. lol

Oh I'm sure. My dad saw the movie and liked it, incidentally, though he hadn't read the books. It sounds like whatever the case, there is enough redeeming about the movie to be worth the time.

Well the gnome saw it and seemed to like it. But that does you no good on the other side of the country.

Do you think you'll be in SF over Christmas with the move?

If you want, I have a ticket I bought for Jersey Boys for 12/26 if you'd like. I'll mail it out.

You have a ticket for Jersey Boys here? I would love to see it. Did you buy it when you thought you were gonna be here over the holiday? Anywho, that would be really swell. I'll be sad to see it alone, but i'd still love to see it...and it would keep me occupied for at least one night. =)

I bought it via TicketMaster when they went on sale. Since my original plan was to be in town on Christmas night, I wanted something to do my first day in town.

Oh its the matinee, not at night. I had figured maybe my nights out there were going to be more occupied.

I'll pop it in the post next day or so.
