It hadn't been the greatest weekend ever for Marie. She had said goodbye to Jamie for the summer, watched a lot of her friends graduate and then watched the school get blown up. All in all, she was kind of looking forward to spending the next couple of months away from Fandom. Though she would definitely miss her friends

"Hey, Tori," Marie said. "You can come in. Congratulations."

"Yeah it certainly was," Marie agreed. "I'm glad everyone made it through safely."

Lana walked up to the fifth floor and knocked on the door frame. "Hey," she said quietly.

"Come on in, Lana," Marie said, giving her a small smile.

"So... I wanted to come and wish you a good trip, safe journey and all that," Lana said.

"Thanks," Marie said. "I'm not going to be gone long, just a couple months."

Summer decided to visit Marie when she had gotten a message from her, so she was there, knocking on the door.

"Hey, Summer," Marie said, waving her in. "How's it going?"

"Pretty good, considering the school got blown up," Summer said, shaking her head. "So, you're heading out of town again, huh?"

"Yeah," Marie said. "I'm spending a few months at a school for mutants in New York. Hopefully get some control over my powers."

Conner had gotten Marie's email when he got back to his room after the day's festivities, and decided that a visit was definitely in order.

"You're coming back, right?" he asked almost plaintively as he poked his head in through the doorway.

"Yes," Marie replied. "In July. Will you still be here?"

Conner grimaced. "I miiiiiiiiiight be. Right now it's looking like I'm gonna have to be home mid-summer if I'm going to get my soccer camp off the ground."

Marie frowned. "Well... we can always visit, right?"

"YOU!" Bridge says, standing in the doorway and pointing an accusing finger at Marie. The fact that his expression isn't all that outraged is probably a clue that he's not *actually* angry.

"I didn't do it!" Marie replies immediately, grinning at Bridge.

"You left without saying goodbye!" Bridge pouts. Okay, so she'd left an email. It wasn't the same thing, omg!

"Did not!" Marie argues. "I knew I was coming back this weekend!"
