For some reason, they started drinking together regularly, like it'd been a good idea the first time (and it wasn't because he enjoyed it, really). Michi was with them this time, as kind of a safety measure, carefully watching them both (but joined in eventually, when Saburo started calling her a coward and a cow and etcetera). It ended up kind of a game, with Saburo draped across the table like a sleepy cat.
"I -- love you," Yuu murmured out at one point during the night, obviously directed at Michi. And then he gave a peculiar look towards Saburo, like he was appraising him -- "... Love you too." Offhandedly, like it was the most natural thing in the world to say.
While Saburo, alarmed, promptly tried to roll off the table and Michi spluttered into her drink, Yuu's head flopped back as he promptly passed out.

Hibiki always acted like he hated it when Salem visited -- sometimes at the oddest hours, him tired and hissing softly, or when Ichiro was still in the apartment and you can't do that when they're so close -- but it was telling how Hibiki always kept the window open whenever he was home.
Yuu greeted Kaito with friendliness and a handshake that was maybe a little too firm, but Kaito didn't think it was weird until he preemptively tried to break a finger.
