Sungmin always knew consequences would come if he did something. Whether it be a good deed or a somewhat terrible and terrifying deed, Sungmin reasoned that there will always be consequences waiting for him at the end of the finish line. He faced them with a brace face, no matter how scared he was of the results. It was part of life; some people called it karma, he called it "actions that God felt like giving him that because he was a good/bad boy with many things to learn from life, this being one of those things."
Expect the unexpected, Min, people advised him every time he felt so scared, he would wet his pants. Sungmin's voice in the back of his head usually shrieked, "If we expect the unexpected, is it still unexpected?!" after people finished their life changing stories and advice. He would stand there with a content smile on his face, not letting anyone know he was completely zoning out instead of listening to the conversation he was supposedly engaged in.
The conversations usually happened during his college classes and they were mainly from his professor that thought he knew everything. After the classes were over, the young man would walk to the park and sit. He liked to "people watch" because after his classes, there wasn't anything to do but visit the park down the street. He liked to watch people fools of themselves, like the amateur skateboarders who tried to show off to their friends. Whenever he catches sight of old people sitting alone on park benches, it made him feel depressed and sad. Everyday after his one o' clock Music Theory class, Sungmin saw different people that caught his attention and made him giggle to himself. Some of the people were intriguing, some were just average, and some were just plain embarrassing to even look at.
At fifteen past one, Sungmin always kept a close eye on the occupants of the park. Of course, he wasn't a complete creeper that liked to check out other people's junk. No, he had more class and manners than that. The boy paid attention because there was always another boy that caught his attention.
His name was Kim Kibum and Sungmin was positive that he was the most gorgeous guy to ever walk the planet. He only had Music Theory with Kibum, that's what it was his favorite class. But no one had to know that information except him and no one else.
Kibum, in Sungmin's mind, was like a diamond, he just naturally glowed. He walked with a nice vice, but somehow he gave off that "badass" attitude every guy tried to have. Perfect teeth. Flawless skin. Hard muscles. Deep eyes. A heart of gold. Kim Kibum had it all.
Sungmin fancied Kibum, that's a fact. He tried to keep it on the down low, but whenever Kibum spoke to him, Sungmin would stand there like an idiot, stuttering short responses. God damn it, why did Kibum have to be so perfect?
Saddened by his stupid actions, Sungmin always waited for the consequences to come and sweep him away. Sometimes, the results weren't as bad as he expected; this made him wonder if they were really real and were the actual results. He usually brushed it off, not bothering to give it a second thought. There was no time for second thoughts.

Night fell, Sungmin's bed was calling to him while his homework was burying him. Algebra homework, music composition, reading, and essays versus a very previous night's sleep. It was always a tough choice for Sungmin, but sleep eventually won the battle in the end.
On some nights, the boy would dream of his "soon-to-be-lover" and wake up feeling somewhat confused and scared. He wondered if his dreamas were either reality or just a pigment of his wild imagination.
But one day, just as he was leaving the park to go back to his dorm, the boy felt a rush of adrenaline rush through his body. Why was he like this? Then, he caught sight of the person sauntering towards him. He felt his eyes widen as his mind tried t frantically process all the information going on.
Kim Kibum was walking towards him, shirt hanging over his shoulder with a toothy grin on his tanned face. Sungmin felt his pulse quicken just by the sight of a shirtless Kibum. He mentally slapped himself and pinched his arm to make sure this wasn't a dream. After numerous slaps and pinches, he finally reached the conclusion that it certainly was not a silly dream.
Finally, the other man reached Sungmin, a smile still planted on his face. He proceeded to ask the elder numerous questions before smoothly slipping in a question concerning a movie and dinner with Sungmin that Friday night. Sungmin automatically nodded yes before realizing that his dreams were finally coming true. Kim Kibum had asked Lee Sungmin out and he said yes !
Words couldn't describe how Sungmin felt at that moment. He felt invincible, like nothing could bring him down. He finally didn't care about the consequences, he finally had a diamond in his hands.
