Author's message: I'm updating pretty fast this time since I have quite a lot of free time on hand and work seems really relaxing at the moment. As usual, enjoy this chapter! Comments are love~

A month later

Packing his things into his bag, Kame carefully slipped in the leather notebook Jin gave him a month ago. He has already finished 10 chapters of the story and he felt really proud of it. He hasn't let Jin read them though. He plans to finish another chapter before passing the notebook to him to continue. The story is about two guys who fell in love with each other and they are the best of friends. Although they are in love with each other, they never said it out, for fear of jeopardising their friendship. Kame don't know why but felt that the story seems really familiar, like he has gone through it before. But he brushed off that thought after a moment because it's a story afterall; a story he simply made up.
He is discharging today and Maki is about to arrive. As much as he wants Jin to come and pick him up, he knows that Jin is too busy for that. He has to stay with Maki anyway, so he has to get used to being around her fast.

"Morning!" Maki chirped as she entered the ward. "You're early."
"Yeah, I can't wait to get out of the hospital. It's killing me." Kame rolled his eyes.
"I've prepared a room for you in our house. I believe you wouldn't want to share a room with me." Maki tried to conceal the hurt as she said that.
"Oh, thank you. I really appreciate that." Kame gave a polite smile.
"You know, you should cut off the formalities. Just talk to me informally, like you usually did."
"Okay. I'll try. I can't promise you if I can." Kame carried his bag and started making his way towards the door. "Let's go."

Maki was driving a red sportscar and the first thing that came to Kame's mind was, boy is he rich! He knew he and Jin are doing a big business, but he had no idea that it was THIS big. When they arrived at their mansion, Kame's mouth was agape; widely agape. It is humongous! Kame thought he would get lost after walking for 5 minutes and would only find his way after walking for one whole day. Yes, it is this huge. The garden is beautiful and there are beds and beds of roses of different colours. Bushes are also neatly lined at the side and there are two fountains too. Almost everything in the house is computerised and Kame was fiddling with the many buttons found on the walls. The buttons are gold in colour and at the bottom of every button is a wood label that states its function. Everything is driving Kame crazy. How can he be this rich!

"If you have any enquiries, just ask Yamapi. He's your personal helper at home and at work." Maki pointed to the guy in a tuxedo.
"Hello Kazuya. Long time no see." He advanced towards Kame and extended his hand with a warm smile.
"Hey ... Yamapi ..." Kame said awkwardly.
"It's okay, I understand. You lost your memory so you don't know me and will feel awkward around me. Just don't hesitate to approach me. I think we need some "together-time" to know each other again." He smiled goofily. Kame started to feel a little more comfortable with Yamapi, knowing that he's all outgoing and goofy, just like himself.
"So ... Since I wasn't around for a year, were you helping Jin with work?" Kame asked, feeling concerned about Jin.
"Of course I do! If I don't help him, I think he would have been dead by now."
"He is THAT busy?"
"Duh! Especially without you around! You are like his ultimate partner! There's only that much I can help him, and it's nothing compared to how much you can help him."
"Wow, I didn't know we work so closely together. We must have been together a lot."
"That's for sure! You guys pretty much stick to each other to the extent that all of us thought both of you would marry each other to make things easier."
Kame laughed at what Yamapi said. No wonder he could warm up to Jin so quickly. They were so close back then, even closer than Maki and him.

"I got to go back to my dad's office to help out. Yamapi, bring Kame to his room?" Maki grabbed her Gucci handbag and headed towards the door, her stilettos making fast and hard clicking sounds against the marble flooring.

Yamapi started walking up the marble stairs while Kame quietly followed behind him. He was admiring the beautiful chandelier that hung above the sofas. The lights were shining in a romantic yellow and it gave the whole area a comfortable and soothing feeling. After walking past god-knows-how-many-doors, they finally arrived at two huge wooden doors; they stretched from the ceiling to the ground. Yamapi pushed open the doors and led Kame in.

"Is this my room?" Kame asked in astonishment. The room is even bigger than an ordinary house.
"Yep! Your study room, library, outfit room, toilet, music room, games room, everything is in here. The doors that you passed just now are doors that lead to different areas in your room. This main door leads to your study room because you're doing work most of the time and servants have to go through this door to ask for you. Say you're not in this room, they will ask for you through the telecom just outside the main door and you will hear their voice no matter which room you are in." Yamapi explained.
"My room includes all the doors that we walked past?!" Kame's eyes were wide open. "What the hell!"
"I see your habit is still there." Yamapi laughed. "You always like to say 'what the hell!' when you're in disbelief."
"Okay, what if I get lost in my own room?" Kame felt ridiculous asking.
"You won't get lost, dude. If you do, just give me a call." Yamapi handed Kame a handphone. "This is your new handphone, by the way. All your business associates' numbers are inside, including your relatives. Basically, everyone that you know, their numbers are in there."
"Even Jin's?" Kame asked excitedly.
"Duh! His number was the very first I keyed into your phone!"
"I'll let you explore your room on your own. Just call me if you need me, kay?"
"Sure!"

The first thing he did when Yamapi left was to call Jin. He wanted to invite Jin over to his mansion and pass him the leather notebook. He wanted to know more about the work he does in the company as well and looking at the pile of files on his table, he has this feeling that he had been doing a hell lot of work in the past. There are so many files on the shelves that touched the ceiling and each shelf is labelled. He must have been a real organised person.

"Hello Jin!" Kame exclaimed when Jin's picked up the phone.
"Hi Kame! Your new phone?" Jin smiled at Kame's voice.
"Yes. Yamapi gave it to me. He said your number was the very first one he keyed in this phone."
"Ah ... I haven't thanked Yamapi for helping me so much when you were not around. We should invite him for dinner one day."
"Yeah, sure. I'm warming up to him too. He seems like a pretty goofy dude."
"Sure he is! He's our closest friend."
"Oh. Since he's my personal helper, Jin, do you have a personal helper too?" Kame was curious, and kind of worried too, he had no idea why.
"Nah. I have a secretary, but she's not exactly a personal helper. Yamapi is a GREAT helper though."
"Ah ..." Kame gave a sigh of relief. He was glad to hear that Jin doesn't have a FEMALE personal helper. Even a MALE personal helper poses a threat. Okay, wait, why is he even worrying?
"So, why did you call?" As much as Jin wanted to continue chatting with Kame, he couldn't. There's just so much he has to do.
"I was just thinking that maybe you can come over to my house after work? I want to pass you the notebook you gave me and I want to know more about the work I did in the past too."
"Ah ... Okay! Sure! I will be there right after I'm done. I'm sorry I couldn't come and pick you up today, I couldn't find time." Jin felt really bad. He knew Kame wanted him to pick him up.
"It's okay. I know you're busy. I will get back to work by this week, I promise. As soon as I go through the files in my study room and understand everything, I will get back to work."
"No worries, dude. Take your time. You need to take care of that brain of yours!"
"Don't worry about me. So I'll see you tonight?" Kame wanted to confirm.
"Yes, I'll see you tonight. Bye!" Jin reluctantly hung up the phone.
"Bye~" Kame smiled at the thought of Jin coming over at night.

Just what would happen in a night at Kame's room? Would there be sparks between them?
